As a senior in college, I am a part of many different teams. A team, by definition, is a group of people who "come together to achieve a common goal." So, while I am not associated with any sports teams, per say, I am involved with other groups of people who I consider a part of different teams. Trying to find harmony while balancing the tasks of these different teams can be hard at times, but definitely doable!
I consider myself a part of 3 different teams: my family, my internship, and my workplace. Within all 3 of these teams, there is a common goal to be achieved. We come together to solve problems and come to resolutions. Most of all, we strive to motivate each other to be the best we can be.
That last bit is extremely important to me. It is something that should be utilized at all times. Should you have a problem, you need to feel comfortable talking to your team about it. If I am struggling or stressed out, I know I can talk to members of my teams in order to figure things out. Usually if I have a big decision to make in my personal life and need a second opinion, I'll talk things out with my mom and it always helps. If I am struggling with ideas during a project within my internship, my team is always right there to help out.
Having teams full of supportive people who are ready to motivate you to succeed is an amazing thing to have. If you happen to find yourself struggling or in a stressful position, think about those around you who you know will bring forth positivity and utilize that as your ambition!
