Fall
Break is quickly approaching and students probably just want to go home, sleep
for hours and hours at a time, and eat something other than pasta or protein
bars. Yes, all of these sound incredibly nice. However fall break is during
October meaning an intense and competitive time for jobs and internships. By
using your time wisely during fall break, one can get a head start on getting
their future life organized! Try and check off these 10 steps and I promise
your future self will thank you one day:
11. Create a LinkedIn Account
22. Develop a Plan of Study for the Rest of
your years in College
33. Clean up your Social Media
44. Look up jobs or internships that you
might be interested in on accounts such as indeed.com or Mycco
55. Update your resume
66. Make a list of potential companies you
would like to work for
77. Write down dates in your calendar
88. Grab coffee with someone who you look to
for career advice
99. Write down a list of skills that do not
have but think you need for your future career
110. Get organized
Once you check off this list, you can
sleep and watch Netflix all you want! Trust me, right after I conquer these
tasks that is definitely what I will be doing! Just do these 10 important steps
and you will definitely be ahead of the game! Have fun, be safe, good luck, and
Career Up!
